Robert Mansell was born in 1960 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Mr. Mansell continued his education in his hometown of Lawton by attending Cameron University, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 1982. Mr. Mansell continued immediately on to the University of Oklahoma Law School, receiving his Juris Doctorate, or Law Degree in 1985. While attending law school, Mr. Mansell was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, which is a legal honors society. Mr. Mansell was also a Member of the Board of Advocates and of the University of Oklahoma Law Review in 1984-85, an honor given only to the top 10% of their class. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Mansell was immediately admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma in 1985. Two years later, Mr. Mansell was successful in his attempt to gain admittance to practice law in the State of California, and has had his license in California since 1987.
